Tire Inflation a campaign issue?
Um, what? As pundits and both campaigns debate how much of keeping tires inflated properly is part of ones energy policy...well isn't the bigger issue that most people have no clue how important tire inflation actually is? That it can effect gas mileage, handling, how quickly and/or un-evenly tires wear...how is it all of these things are missed by the general public that any candidate for any political office can possibly make it even 1% of their energy policy? The fact that a presidential candidate, both of them, think to even mention tire inflation is stuipd and indicitive of the level of intelligence they're expecting from voters. Sadly, aren't they probably playing to reality?
It should be noted that a possible VP pick of McCains, the Florida Governor as well as the California Governor who he has campaigned with, has talked about the importance of tire inflation to improve gas mileage. Somehow now it is a campaign joke for Mr. McCain's campaign...
