Race has been part of Obama's campaign all along.

Thankfully from no one prominent or worth talking about but the notion that Mr. Obama is somehow Muslim has everything to do with him being half black and his dad once being Muslim. Never mind that his dad didn't raise him and Obama didn't even know him for many years. Or that his dad became an atheist rather early in life. Mr. Obama didn't even find religion until his community work with church based programs in Chicago and had to be convinced to go to church.
